1st check up

The nurse just came by the house to explain the "kind & gezin" organisation and checked Méliane' s weight. It's now 3,240kg which means that she gained 430gr since we came out of the hospital 10 days ago. She said it is really good and that even if she only drinks 5 min at a time she is getting enough.

What a relief!! I guess breastfeeding is worth all the pain when you know your child is healthy!!

Next check in 10 days...

Some of Daddy's workers came to cook for us. This is the african traditions: young moms do not have to do a thing around their house during the 1st few months... Mom would like to know why dad lost all of his culture ;-)

4rd day - Visit of daddy's colleagues + friends

My daddy was well dressed to get us out of the hospital. We went to write me down at the city hall and he was finally able to give me his name. He is so proud!!

4rd day- our arrival home

1st hour

Because Mom and Dad were at the hospital anyway and due to the fact that the doctor waited me there before next week... they decided to help a bit mother nature...

They started the procedure around 17.00 and I was there at 1.30

Mommy says that she didn't feel a thing even before the epidurale...(she wishes all of her pregnant friends to have the same thing she did)

Because mom thought she had some contractions, daddy took her to the hospital. I guess they were just in a hurry to see me because the monitor didn't see any contractions. ;-)
